Duke's Men's Basketball team has advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament after defeating top-seeded Houston 54-51 in the South Region semifinal on Friday night at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

The Blue Devils, a fourth seed in the tournament, held off a late rally by the Cougars to secure the victory. Houston had a chance to tie the game with a three-pointer in the final seconds, but the shot missed, and Duke held on for the win.

Duke was led by Paolo Banchero, who had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Mark Williams added 12 points and eight rebounds, and Jeremy Roach chipped in 10 points.

For Houston, Jarace Walker led the way with 14 points. Jamal Shead and Tramon Mark each added 11 points.

Duke will face the winner of the Gonzaga-UCLA game in the Elite Eight on Sunday, March 26th.
